PASSER’s  Capstan Tensioner provides excellent grip on the cable due to the combination of cable friction and the capstan wheels rubber lining. The Capstan Tensioner can also be advantageously in other product lines, both as a main tensioner and as an auxilliary tensioner for safely transporting cable up floors or through demanding bends. 

The wheels large diameter and wide contact surface help protect the cable by ensuring a proper bending radius and preventing point of stress. To ensure concistent contact between the Capstan Tensioner and the cable, most line setups will require a small slave tensioner positioned where the cable exists the Capstan Tensioner. This tesioner applies a controlled pull force.
