Shipbuilding and Vessel Construction Services
Complete vessel construction and ship repair at our facilities in Groningen, Netherlands and Klaipeda, Lithuania
European Shipbuilding for Commercial and Offshore Vessels
PASSER delivers complete shipbuilding services through two strategic facilities: our Groningen shipyard in the Netherlands handling vessels up to 135m length and our Klaipeda facility in Lithuania with deep-water quay access for oversized vessel construction. We build cargo vessels, passenger ferries, workboats, and offshore support vessels for operators requiring European build quality and reliable delivery schedules.
Our dual-location approach provides flexibility to optimise production based on vessel type, project timeline, and current workload, ensuring your vessel gets built where it makes the most operational sense.
Commercial Vessel Construction
Cargo Ships and Ferries
We construct commercial vessels, including general cargo ships, cement carriers, and passenger ferries for Baltic and North Sea operations. Recent deliveries include the 90-metre cement carrier Florvik, built in collaboration with Bodewes, demonstrating our capability for complete vessel construction within demanding timelines.
Our shipbuilding process integrates hull fabrication, outfitting, systems installation, and sea trials, delivering turnkey vessels ready for immediate commercial operation.
Workboats and Service Vessels
Specialised workboat construction includes offshore support vessels, multi-purpose service vessels, and marine construction platforms. Each vessel benefits from our experience in offshore equipment manufacturing, particularly when integrating cable handling systems or deck machinery.
